The philosophy behind CCLS began at a construction site. Seeing the amount of needless waste generated - beautiful wood being thrown into dumpsters...not only was it wasteful, but also it was upsetting.  Wood being tossed away, only to end up in fill landfills or burn piles...someone had to do something....so I decided that someone should be me....

All of the wood used in my projects are from 100% recycled wood - from construction sites, from old, tear-down homes, left-overs from saw mills (headed for the burn pile).  Locally sourced materials, bought from local shops (such as our local Brewster Hardware Store) help not only to support our local economy, but help reduce waste and pollution.

My passion for creating art that brings people JOY, combined with my love of our planet/the trees/nature - can be seen in the one-of-a-kind pieces I make.  Everything is crafted by hand and is 100% made here on Cape Cod.
